3 Tips for Throwing a Spring Bridal Shower
Spring is in the air and you know what that means… it’s time to plan the bridal shower! We tracked down 3 great tips from Country Living that we thought all our Spring/Summer Brides would love to hear. Check them out below!
1. Decorate with Fresh Flowers – Simple glass bowls allow gorgeous spring blooms, like freesia and ranunculus, to take center stage. A mix of pastel pink, yellow, and cream hues is ladylike, without being stuffy. Scatter a number of arrangements down the center of the table. Snag bubble vases at save-on-crafts.com (just $14 for 6), and encourage guests to take the centerpieces home as favors.
2. Load up on Veggies – Fill up guests’ plates with fresh produce, like an argula salad topped with blistered tomatoes and sauteed green beans. Baked carrots and beets add a colorful touch and add a lighter note to a heavy potato-and-cheese tart.
3. Add Lovely Little Details – Embroidered linen napkins offer vintage, girly flair. Find similar styles on Etsy or eBay, or opt for embellished paper napkins. And no need to unpack all of your stemware for a champagne toast: Party City stocks realistic-looking and affordable plastic versions of the classic flutes, as well as Gatsby-inspired coupes.
