Tori and Joshua – Barn at Boyden Farm Wedding!

Time for a look back to last August, for the wedding of Tori and Joshua! They got married at the Barn At Boyden Farm on a beautiful sunny day. What a great spot for a wedding! It is located in Cambridge, Vermont, and has a beautiful view of the mountains and their very own cornfield, and of course that great barn! Not much shade there, so that was an issue, as full sun can be harsh. That is standard fair so easy to deal with. These two love birds...

Katelyn and John – An Inn at Grace Farm Wedding

A quick look at the Vermont wedding of Katelyn and John. They got married at the Inn at Grace Farm in Fairfax, Vermont.

We had planned to do most of the photos before the wedding ceremony, but the rain kept us scrambling back indoors. A quick online check of the weather showed that the sun was on the way. So finally the wedding processional started just as the sun came out, but 30 minutes late. The wedding ceremony was beautiful and baby Julian looked on! Afterwards, I had to go into serious photo over-drive to get the day back on schedule. I would have liked to spend more time for some intimate photos with the newlyweds, but dinner was done, and the crowd was ready! All in all it worked out perfectly, but once again Mother Nature was in control of this Vermont wedding!

Nicole and Cody – A Brookside Barn Wedding

Today I am showcasing the wedding photos of Nicole and Cody Russell. This was my first all PRIME wedding! I used only PRIME lenses, and left my zooms in the bag. I like PRIME lenses as they are much sharper then zoom lenses, focus faster and more silently, and also give me amazing soft backgrounds for my photos! When I photograph a wedding, I always reach for a PRIME lens first! Their wedding was at the Brookside Barn in Altona New York. It is a brand new facility that is...

She Said Yes!!!

When Greg called about his plans to pop the question to girlfriend Karlee, I was very excited! Such a great moment to share with a young couple in love.

So I was set up 4:45 on Saturday near Echo down by the lake on the Burlington waterfront. It was a balmy 8 degrees, and the sun was out! I told Greg to walk in front of my camera, look at me and I would give him a thumbs up when Karlee was not looking. So the signal was given, Greg got on one knee, and popped the big question. After a few exclamations of joy and some jumping up and down, she said yes. So we did a short photo session, and then went to Hotel Vermont where some close family and friends were waiting! Congrats Greg and Karlee!
