Ashley and Matthew at Satoyama Mountain Farm

A look back at the wedding photographs of Ashley and Matthew! They got married at Satoyama Mountain Farm in Rochester, Vermont. What a wonderful setting for a rustic wedding that really shows the true flavor of Vermont! The fields are just beautiful, and the perfect backdrop for classic photos! This was one of our first large scale weddings of the year, and it went off perfectly! So happy and proud to be a wedding photographer in the great little state of Vermont! Enjoy! ...

Senior Portraits

What wonderful weather I had with Taryn for her senior portrait session! The sun was blazing, and I used my favorite technique of using the sun as a back-light, and using a reflector for the main lighting. Of course shooting on a tripod lets me hold up a sun screen to block the sun from hitting my lens, and hold the reflector. Otherwise I would need 4 hands!   ...

Details, Details, Details…

Often it is the little things in life that tell the real story. Each couple puts a lot of thought into the small things that help tell their unique wedding story. Carefully selected as part of the wedding tale. But the details often get forgotten. That is where I come in, or any good wedding photographer. A boy and a girl…

A fun little video featuring Emily and Ben, filmed in Burlington, Vermont. I did mostly still images, but also shot a few short directed video clips. This was part of my ongoing charity for ALL BREED RESCUE. They are a wonderful group that rescues dogs from Southern states and brings them to kind homes here in Vermont. This is available to all engaged couples who are getting married in 2021 and beyond. There is no charge, and nothing to buy! All it requires is a donation to All...

Outdoor Portraits on the way….

It has been a long time coming, and I am happy to say that couples are coming out of hibernation and are ready for, well, almost anything! Weddings celebrations have been affected, but not portraits! I have done 5 engagement portrait shoots over the past few weeks, and have 2 more on Saturday. Will be trying out my new video camera. I decided to get a dedicated video camera, rather then try to use a camera that does stills and video. This way I will have a dedicated...

May 18th Wedding at Sleepy Hollow!

It has been 1 year since my wife Wendy and I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Emily and Zach. The wedding and reception took place at Sleepy Hollow in Starksboro, Vermont. The black flies were out in force, but that is what you get in Vermont during mud-season. No cake, cupcakes in every color! Seems like cupcakes are the new wedding tradition. Wendy and I have done 6 weddings at Sleepy Hollow to date! Always a great venue, and close to home, which is always...
