Katy and Rachel were married last April at The Essex Resort & Spa, a venue that never fails to deliver beautiful backdrops and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Spring had fully arrived in Vermont, and even with damp grounds from earlier rain, the setting felt lush, fresh, and full of life.
From the start of the day, Katy and Rachel brought an easy joy and calm energy that set the tone for their wedding. Their connection was genuine and effortless, filled with laughter, meaningful glances, and quiet moments that made photographing their day feel natural and relaxed. Both brides looked absolutely stunning, and every part of the day reflected who they are together.
A Favorite Vermont Wedding Venue
The Essex Resort & Spa continues to be one of my favorite venues to photograph, and Katy and Rachel’s wedding was one of four weddings I captured there in 2025. The property offers beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, thoughtful details, and flexibility that works well in any season. Its variety of settings makes it easy to create a full gallery that feels timeless and personal.
The venue’s layout allowed us to move seamlessly throughout the day, capturing portraits, candid moments, and celebrations with ease. Whether tucked under covered walkways or enjoying the elegance of the indoor spaces, every part of the property complemented Katy and Rachel’s wedding style.
A Meaningful Celebration
What stood out most was the love surrounding Katy and Rachel. From emotional moments during the ceremony to joyful celebrations with family and friends, their wedding day felt intentional and heartfelt. It was a reminder that the beauty of a wedding lies in connection, not conditions.
Katy and Rachel’s day was a wonderful example of how spring weddings at The Essex Resort & Spa offer charm, versatility, and a relaxed atmosphere that allows couples to truly enjoy their celebration.
If you’re planning a wedding at The Essex Resort & Spa, I’d love to help tell your story.
