I had the honor of photographing Annie and Mason’s wedding at TopNotch Resort with my dear friend Jay Kennedy. Jay was my biggest inspiration when I joined the Vermont Professional Photographers Association a few decades ago. His images and wedding albums were always winning top honors in competition, and he always brings his A-game to each and every job. So working a wedding together was a pleasure. Rain gave us a late start, so I let Jay do the pre-bridal stuff, while I scouted out locations for the First Look at the tent on the grounds. The grounds were soaked, so I decided to do the First Look under the tent looking out. Not the perfect background, but I did not want to get Annie’s gown soaked before the ceremony. It was a whirlwind of a day. No more rain, but lots of wind. The band was amazing, and the dancefloor was packed and frenzied all night. Enjoy!
