Golden Hour offers such a warm light, and unique challenges as well! But thanks to my trusty tripod and favorite portrait lens, it was Gold-so to speak! For many of these I let the sunlight hit my lens, knowing that by doing what I have been trained not to do, sometimes works out for the better. Others I shot directly into the sun and blocked the sun from hitting my lens with hand held reflector. Again on a tripod so I had free hands. Nice having free hands when doing technically challenging things like this. Some are soft, some are sharp. I like them all! This was the end of Annie and Mason’s engagement shoot, just before the sun went down.
