There’s something unforgettable about a wedding in the mountains, and Wendy and Nick’s celebration at Jay Peak was the perfect reminder of why we love photographing Vermont weddings.
From the moment we arrived, the energy of the day felt joyful and relaxed. Jay Peak’s sweeping mountain views created a breathtaking natural backdrop, but it was Wendy and Nick’s connection that truly made the setting shine. The soft mountain light, the open skies, and the layers of green peaks in the distance gave every moment a cinematic feel.
Wendy was absolutely radiant. As she stepped into her dress, there was a calm excitement in the room. Nick, waiting patiently, had that unmistakable look we always watch for behind the lens, equal parts anticipation and awe. Their first look was one of those pauses in time that photographers live for. The mountains stood quietly behind them as they took each other in, smiling in that way that only happens when you know you’ve found your person.
