Real Vermont Weddings

Happy Couple: Eve and Eric
Wedding Location: All Souls Interfaith Gathering
Photographer: Geoff and Wendy
I had the privilege of photographing Eve and Eric’s wedding in Shelburne, Vermont. Previously, I had photographed both Eve’s sister’s and brother’s weddings. Three times is a charm! It was nice seeing this family again. The weather was cloudy, but there was a very soft glow coming through the clouds, as the sun tried to peek through. It gave a mystical look to many of the backgrounds, as we overlooked Lake Champlain.
Wendy and I arranged a first look and then brought the couple down to the waterfront for formals. The lighting was warm, intense, and very dramatic. We got most of the posed images done before the rain kicked in.
The short and sweet ceremony was held in the chapel and sealed with a kiss. Since most of the traditional poses had been captured, the happy couple joined the party. I saw some pretty good dance moves at this bash, and got right in with the crowd, which is always fun! The night ended with a sparkler send-off, and buses to bring folks back into Burlington.
