How We Met: Bobby and I actually met through an online dating app in 2015. I was living in Boston at the time but about to move back to VT. On one of my trips to VT to look for an apartment, we had our first date. Dinner at a restaurant turned into a drink at a nearby bar, and eventually a very late night cup of coffee at McDonald’s because that was the only place still open! I actually had to drive back to Boston that night. I had to work the next day and was not planning on leaving so late, but we were having such a great time talking and getting to know each other that we didn’t want the date to end.
Proposal Story: Bobby proposed on Christmas morning 2021. We were exchanging gifts and he was pretending that he couldn’t find one of mine, and then reached his hand under the tree skirt and pulled out the ring box.
